Course One: 16-17 October

Activity-based Costing Principles and Activity-based Budgeting Training

A two-day training program or workshop has the objective that delegates fully understand the principles of activity-based costing and preferably applied to their specific industry or organisation.

Course objectives are:

Day One:

  • Give delegates a full overview of all ABC terms and principles
  • Explain the steps in building an ABC system
  • Understand practical issues to consider when building a system
  • Enable delegates to be able to design an ABC system

Day Two:

  • Understand when to use Activity-based budgeting


Course Two: 18-19 October

Activity-based Costing Implementation Training

The purpose of this course is to give delegates a hands-on overview of how to implement and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) system going thru all the implementation steps using a case study approach. Delegates will build a model using spreadsheets and will also be shown real-life ABC models to support the process.
